This is my reply to the genuises who can't read (it's from a thread that started-up on Dimensions) - I'm only posting my reply because it contains all the quotes from everybody else. Next person to come here and leave me a quote like 'this isn't your art' or some other brilliant conclusion officially gets a dunce's cap.

I set-up an account on Deviant Art, slap a few crappy pieces onto it, and then don't log back in for about 2-3 months. When I do, I discover the Sherlock Holmsian deductions that you all made about my stuff and was just floored.

The first comment I noticed was: "Hey hey! Welcome to DA from a fellow FA."

Literally one minute later the same guy posts again and says: "Waitaminute, I didn't notice, but you're BeakerFA aren't you? Cool! Thought you'd come here eventually."

And then, LITERALLY 4 minutes later he posts AGAIN and says: "Hmmm... perhaps you're NOT BeakerFA. I'm going to go and check with the Dimensions forums..."

NO &$@&* SHERLOCK. I thought it was a joke that you said you were gonna go check with the Dimensions forums. You obviously don't stop to think before you type, because there was barely a few minutes between each of your posts! I mean, come on, do you see BeakerFA's name as the owner of the page? Do you see BeakerFA's name as one of the original artists of the stuff I used? YES! Why the HELL would BeakerFA credit himself as one of the original artist? Did you even stop to TRY and think before you posted? I don't think so! Next time, try actually doing that before running over to here and starting this nonsense!

The first post over here says: "At first I thought this was a new FA on DA, but then I noticed elements of BeakerFA's old work. The artist says he was "cutting and pasting certain elements of it from another piece I did".

But then it hit me. BeakerFA wouldn't make such a messy collage with his own work. Also he wouldn't re-use his own stuff, just draw new things.

So, I think this is plagarized material.

OMG ... Did you HONESTLY mistake my crap for BeakerFA's stuff? PLEASE tell me no --- I think that's far more insulting to BeakerFA than you even realize! I don't even consider myself to be an artist!!! My Deviant Art profile clearly says: Interests: Zero artistic talent (Outside Art?), but I like fiddling with other people's stuff.

There is no possible rebuttal I could make to your accusations because they are utterly absurd - and misquoted (It does NOT say "cutting and pasting certain elements of it from another piece I did").


Next we get: "at the very least the guy has obvious copied and pasted the work of three different artists, that i recognize and probably a few i don't(specifically the demons), to pass off as his own, its painfully obvious at that too."


GEE - you think? In one of the pictures in question the description reads: "I did this rather quickly, cutting and pasting certain elements of it from several other pieces somebody did..."

Brilliant deduction, Holmes --- you've cracked the case by reading my own words. Oh, and BeakerFA is given credit as one of the original artists in question.


Next: "Yeah. There are certainly cut and paste images from BeakerFA's drawings ... You can tell this guy is a forgery in an instant. He places too many subjects in the same composition to meet Beaker's consistent pursuit of singularity ..."

Oh, you're GOOD. Like my intro says: "Favourite style or digital art: Can't lay a claim to anything that I do, not my stuff, but I have fun making it all. "

A LOT of artist's stuff is in there --- there's not ONE original element in it.

And I can't even say that I'm as good as Henry Darger, but thanks. His stuff was found in a crap pile of somebody's house, and then declared to be the work of a 'talented lost artist'? I can't even remotely make that claim.

And, yes, I guess the closest thing is that I'm an Outsider Artist --- I do NOT consider my 'art' to be the work of an artist.

BeakerFA is the only sane person here!

Oh, and thank you for clearing up that I am NOT you --- would've made life very confusing.

It is Outsider Art --- and thanks for the compliment, but I seriously doubt any of my crap would make a grant from anybody. lol

This must be an abberation. A compliment in the midst of this all. Thank you for thinking that it's "seriously F'ed up" --- you probably don't realize how much of a praise that came to me.

These collages are largely transparent to anyone at all familiar with FA art (FArt?? eew!) and certainly not a threat. In a tightly-knit scene like this, it's hard to keep such "appropriations" a secret, anyway.. We ALL know sooner or later."

I guess my stuff probably is a 'fart' compared to your great stuff. lol

I would never attempt to pass-off my slop as YOUR stuff. Wherever that even came from, I honestly apologize (What I'm apologizing for I have no idea, I openly-admit that the stuff isn't original!)


Anyways ... I'm out of here. I'll probably log back on in another 2-3 months and find out I'm mistaken for some famous dead artist next time ...

Other artist's have also commented that they could 'care less' --- my below-average crap doesn't mean a thing to the original artist. It's not like everybody doesn't know who the original artists are - GET REAL!
